Barcelona, Birmingham, Berlin & London (lowkey Dublin too)
March - June 2024

Post-Marrakech, I spent my actual birthday in Barcelona. I ended up staying with Nils who became my muse by default. Sorry brudi. It was a time though. Mira and Serah played sick DJ sets, I saw one of my favourite skaters at the spot (not pictured) but was too chicken to say hi or get back on board. Naturally, we ate at the Dominican place (duh) and also a really hilarious iftar at the Indian spot. Memorably, BANGING SEAFOOD (not pictured, sadly) and a lovely convo slash trek down the mountain from Fundació Joan Miró.

What else did we get up to? E had a gorgeous birthday celebration at his gaff in Peckham. Can you say baked? We went to Berlin to support Douniah and Modha at XJAZZ! (there was a small incident with bedbugs) and then a heartwarming radio show with Henry and keiyaA at Refuge.

Left BER only to come back AGAIN for another show. This time with my siblings Trovi and Kondo aka Poet & Prophetess supporting The Cavemen (!!!) at Festsaal Kreuzberg. It’s kinda mad when I deep it. Thank you Jummy! More Refuge and last minute recording sessions. Danke Toto.

Back to Brum for a curators’ talk with Orphée. No, seriously. I am actually a curator. It’s not a joke. Then we dipped to London for music from Berlin, a delish pub meal with London’s finest artists, a great view in Crystal Palace and oddly enough, some peace. Danke Kondo.

Back to Brum AGAIN for a gig at Centrala where I cried profusely during my set. My director friend Baff asked me to record some music for his film. Green screen baby. Oh, and how could I forget. I went to Dublin with my sister to see Girls Aloud. Lowkey, it was a decent show.
